Photo Album: Moldy Crawl Space No More in Brunswick, GA
Walt S. of Brunswick, GA called Lowcountry Basement Systems after a routine inspection from a termite company showed signs of mold. Walt did not want mold growing on the foundation of his home, and wanted to address the situation right away. Lowcountry Basement Systems recommended encapsulating the crawl space to remove the moisture and reduce the humidity.
The project took three days to complete. First, a drainage matting was laid over the earth, then CleanSpace liner was used to cover the drainage matting. The crawl space vents were sealed, the crawl space door was replaced. The sump pump was replaced and dehumidifier was installed. Walt was happy to have his moisture issue taken care of.
