Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Leaking Basement Sealed in Macon, GA
Annette T. of Macon, GA had a leaking basement in her house. Cracks appeared in her foundation. She had seen an ad for Lowcountry Basement Systems on Macon’s CBS channel 13, and called for a free inspection. The inspector completed a thorough evaluation inside and outside the home and created a custom solution to stop the water seeping into the foundation and to divert water away from the foundation. WaterGuard was first installed to divert water away from the foundation walls and then CleanSpace was used to seal the basement walls. Designed to reduce moisture, the CleanSpace 20-mil thick plastic liner, similar to a pool liner, can be installed in basements and crawl spaces to seal off the home or walls from the earth. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidification system was the final addition to help maintain the humidity in the basement.
