Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: High Humidity in Covington, GA Crawlspace
This home in Covington, GA had active mold in the crawl space due to high humidity levels. The wood moisture meter was reading "OL", meaning the moisture was so high that it was outside of the device's readable range. It was practically raining condensation from the ceiling of the crawlspace, soaking into the floor joists and subfloor, causing them to start to rot. Our Inspector recommended encapsulation to seal off all the harmful moisture, protecting the home.
