Drainage System Installation
The StarPipe drainage system is typically installed by first excavating a trench around the perimeter of the crawl space. The trench is then lined with a perforated pipe, which is surrounded by a layer of gravel to facilitate water flow. The pipe is designed to collect and channel water away from the crawl space, preventing it from accumulating and causing moisture-related issues. Once the pipe is in place, the trench is covered with a vapor barrier to further protect the crawl space from moisture. This system effectively manages water and helps keep the crawl space dry and free from flooding.

Water Damage
In this case, the customer's crawl space had high humidity and moisture levels, which caused the HVAC system and floor joists to become rusted and damaged. The moisture in the air led to the corrosion of the metal components in the HVAC system. Additionally, the floor joists were exposed to prolonged moisture, which weakened the wood and caused the floors to sag. This combination of rust and structural damage highlighted the need for a permanent solution to seal and dry the crawl space.

More Damage in Crawl Space
It was crucial to seal the crawl space off from moisture to prevent further damage and ensure a healthier home overall.

Subfloor Damage
Moisture in the air damaged the floor joists and led to sagging and unsafe floors.

Failing Support Columns
The support system was no longer supporting the weight of the structure. Overtime, they began to sink into the wet soil, leaving open gaps where support is necessary.

Sump Pump System
Our SmartSump Pump system was installed to collected water from the drainage system and drain it out and away from the foundation through an exterior discharge line.

Dehumidification
The SaniDry Sedona is a pint-sized powerhouse of a dehumidifier. It may be small, but sure is powerful! It has the ability to remove upwards of 100 pints of water a day, ensuring the air is clean and free of moisture and mold spores.

Crawl Space Support System
We installed our SmartJack support system to ensure the new subfloor is permanently stabilized and secure without the worry of moisture damage or it sinking into the ground.

CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
The CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed throughout the crawl space by laying a durable, moisture-resistant material across the floor and walls, sealing it to create an airtight barrier. This prevents moisture from entering the space, protecting the home from structural damage, mold growth, and musty odors.

EverLast Door
Installing the EverLast door provides a durable, airtight seal for the crawl space, preventing moisture and outside air from entering. This helps maintain a dry, stable environment, reducing the risk of mold, mildew, and structural damage, while improving indoor air quality and overall home health.
