SmartSump System
The SmartSump Pump System is a specialized solution designed to keep crawl spaces dry. It works by collecting water that enters the space and pumping it out, preventing moisture buildup and potential damage. The system is compact, efficient, and designed to fit seamlessly into crawl spaces, ensuring long-term protection against water issues.
Discharge Line & LawnScape Oulets
Exterior discharge lines carry water pumped out by the sump pump systems to a safe drainage area, preventing it from pooling near the foundation. LawnScape Outlets at the end of the lines allow water to flow out while keeping the lines clear of debris.
Sealing Off Moisture
Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was permanently fastened throughout this dirt cellar to eliminate water issues and keep the space healthy and dry.
Before Sealing Crawl Space
Dirt crawl spaces often face issues such as moisture intrusion, mold growth, and poor air quality. Unsealed dirt floors allow humidity and water vapor to rise, creating an environment conducive to mold, pests, and structural damage. These problems can also affect the overall air quality in the home, as damp, moldy air from the crawl space can circulate throughout the living areas.
During Installation
Before sealing the dirt cellar with the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System, the area was thoroughly inspected and prepared to ensure proper installation. The durable liner was then installed to create a moisture barrier, preventing water vapor from entering the space and reducing the risk of mold and mildew growth.
Efflorescence
Efflorescence is a white, powdery substance that was discovered on the block foundation walls in this dirt cellar. It forms when water carrying dissolved salts seeps through the walls and evaporates, leaving the salts behind. Its presence indicates that moisture is penetrating the walls, which can lead to structural damage over time. Efflorescence also suggests that the cellar is prone to water intrusion, which can create a damp environment, promoting mold growth and weakening the foundation.
