Smart Vents Prevent Flood Water Structural Damage in Hilton Head Island, SC

This Hilton Head Island, SC homeowner contacted Lowcountry Foundation Repair to receive a free estimate on some flood vents for his crawl space. His home is close to the coast, and he wants to make sure his foundation can survive flooding stormwater. He scheduled an appointment with one of our trusted inspectors. 

Our inspector, Brian Hunter, suggested that he install Smart Vents around the outside of his crawl space. Smart Vents are engineered flood vents that protect houses and buildings during floods by preventing water pressure buildup that can destroy walls and foundations. 

After one day of installation, the Smart Vents were installed and the homeowner was very happy with the outcome!
