This homeowner had started to notice a separation between the top of her cabinets and her ceiling. Lowcountry Foundation Repair determined that  Helical piles would lift the home back into place. Our inspector, Brian Hunter, suggested that he install Smart Vents around the outside of his crawl space. Smart Vents are engineered flood vents that protect houses and buildings during floods by preventing water pressure buildup that can destroy walls and foundations.
