The homeowner of a property in Allendale, SC, reported issues with wood rot in their crawlspace foundation. Our inspector thoroughly investigated and discovered that several joists had lost their structural integrity due to wood rot. To solve the issue, our team recommended the installation of new treated joists to repair and stabilize the affected areas. However, to prevent future wood rot, we also recommended installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to protect the new wood from high moisture levels. Our expert team successfully installed both solutions, providing the homeowner with a lasting and effective solution.

This Ellabell, GA homeowner became very concerned about her crawl space when she noticed a large hole in the front and back of her home where water was seeping into her crawl space. The area was extremely wet, and the bricks around her home were beginning to settle. She needed our help, so we scheduled her with one of our inspectors.
Our inspector suggested that she encapsulate the entire crawl space to prevent water from entering. We encapsulated the crawl space using our CleanSpace product, a seven-layer reinforced laminate that isolates the home from the earth completely and reduces humidity levels. He also noted that the foundation was beginning to settle, and she needed extra support. We lifted the home back to place using our SmartJacks, a galvanized steel column support that lifts sagging floor joists.
After four days of installation, the project was complete and the homeowner was thrilled with the outcome!
