Our foundation pier system was used to lift this settling home in Macon, GA. Steel piers are driven deep into the soil beneath the house. This transfers the weight of the home to the stable soil. Effectively lifting the settled foundation and stabilizing it against further movement.
Keeping this customers crawl space dry was the objective. To do this, our team installed our CleanSpace Drainage Matting throughout the dirt crawl space floor. The matting is designed to effectively channel water away from the dirt floor and direct it towards the sump system. This will prevent water from accumulating and causing moisture issues like mold growth.
CleanSpace will prevent moisture damage by creating a durable vapor barrier that blocks water and moisture from penetrating the area, protecting the structure and preventing mold growth. The liner was fastened throughout the crawl space, walls, floor and support columns to ensure the space remain healthy and dry!

Bernice M. of Macon, GA was watching tv when she saw a Lowcountry Foundation Repair commercial for foundation repair. Bernice watched the commercial and noticed that she was experiencing the same problems: her floors were sagging, there were cracks in the drywall. Bernice called Lowcountry Foundation Repair and scheduled a free inspection of her crawl space.
We recommended installing a SmartJack System to provide additional support to the joists and subfloor. SmartJacks are easily adjustable and made from galvanized steel, so they won’t rust. It took two days to complete the work, but when it was done, Bernice was thrilled!
