This historic home in the Charleston, SC area was having water flooding into the basement after heavy rains. The owner called Lowcountry to see what could be done, and after a free inspection, we recommended a customized installation of our waterproofing system suited to the home's individual needs. This system allows the water to drain into a sump pump to be carried out of the space.
A homeowner in Daniel Island, SC noticed a water issue in their basement. The water was coming through and along the base of the walls. They were worried about the problem getting worse, so they searched online for some answers and found Lowcountry Foundation Repair. We were able to design a customized waterproofing solution that fit the needs of the basement and the homeowner was happy to move forward with it. Our team installed the WaterGuard Perimeter Waterproofing System and CleanSpace® Wall Vapor Barrier to collect and drain the water, then that water drains into a sump pump, in which the water is pumped out and away from the home. The customer was very pleased with how effective the system is at keeping the basement dry.
Our crew took this basement from a liability to a usable space with the installation of our perimeter drainage system, Waterguard XL and a TripleSafe pump system. The space is now water free while the area and everything in it dry!
This home in Mount Pleasant, SC had dampness in the crawlspace, and the homeowner was worried about mold. Lowcountry Foundation Repair came out to do a free inspection and provide a custom quote. Our inspector recommended a dehumidifier to lower the humidity in the crawlspace, along with drainage matting to protect the area from ground moisture. The homeowner decided to move forward with the project and was very happy with the results.
