This crawl space on Hilton Head Island, SC was wet, damp and nasty! Although the homeowner had his joists and subfloor sprayed with foam, the moisture in the crawl space allowed mold to grow on the exposed wood. Lowcountry Basement Systems encapsulated the crawl space, sealing off the home from the earth - fixing the problem. A SmartDrain allowed moisture collected from the dehumidifier to be returned to earth, away from the home. 

This homeowner was already a happy customer but wanted to protect and give their crawlspace the best service that can be provided! We installed EZ flow as a perimeter drainage system to control water seepage around the foundation walls. 

Our CleanSpace Drainage Matting is a dimpled mat installed beneath your home. The mat guides water to an interior perimeter drainage system and sump pump. Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is installed over the mat for optimal protection against moisture. 

CleanSpace drainage matting works by creating a raised dimpled surface that allows water to flow freely underneath, directing it towards a sump pump or drainage system, thereby preventing water accumulation and potential damage in the crawl space.
