Sealed out moisture with CleanSpace encapsulation

This home out on Whitmarsh Island was having moisture issues in the crawl space that were causing concern for the homeowner. Some of the wood had started to deteriorate, and they wanted to get ahead of the issue by adding moisture protection. Our team was able to solve the issue by encapsulating the crawl space to seal out moisture and create a conditioned space.

Falling insulation can cause other problems besides cluttering up your crawl space. In these pictures you can see that the insulation actually pulled down a junction box creating a fire and electrical hazard. Also note the white powder on the joists. Yep you guessed it, that's mold! We were able to correct the problems through insulation removal and the installation of a CleanSpace System. 

Wow! Where to begin? This homeowner tried to fix the moisture problem through the use of a plastic floor liner. As you can see the water problem and humidity are still an issue because the whole problem wasn't addressed. The after shot shows the addition of a CleanSpace liner, which is antimicrobial i.e. won't grow mold, as part of a system including our SuperSump or TripleSafe sump pumps and our SaniDry line of dehumidifiers. Our system solved the problem and left a happy home owner with a healthier home!
