After a homeowner called us with concerns of their crawlspace, a broken floor joist was found that was creating a weak point in the floor. After the replacement and sister of the joist, the floor is now stabilize. 

Humidity and moisture under this home caused wood rot and created an environment for mold to grow. Lowcountry Basement Systems encapsulated the crawl space to remove the moisture and reduce the humidity. 

This homeowner in Rincon, GA had a problem with the floor in one area of the home. Water had damaged the joists beneath the subfloor, weakening it, and allowing the floor to sag. Before installing additional crawl space support pillars (SmartJacks), the subfloor needed to be replaced.

Lowcountry Foundation Repair first sent out the team to the house to replace the wood. After the woodworking was complete, the team installed SmartJacks to support the newly installed joists and subfloor.

Excessive moisture in this crawl space led to damaged floor joists and sagging floors. To reinforce the joists and stabilize the sagging floor, we installed new lumber and sistered joists. Our SmartJack System was installed to lift the sagging floor to level.
