As you can see from the before photo of this joist, the homeowners were in bad need of our help. They called us out for the concern of a soft spot in their floor. Our Design Specialist was scheduled and made his way out to the home and the situation became even more urgent from the state of wood under the home, especially this specific joist. Our crew arrived and square the issue away swiftly and with confidence!

This is particularly necessary when the soil beneath the foundation is unstable, prone to erosion, or has experienced changes in moisture levels that cause it to expand or contract. Foundation piers transfer the weight of the structure to more stable soil layers or bedrock, ensuring the house remains level and secure over time.
