The inspector noted wet, soggy insulation, and the piers supporting the foundation sunk into the soft soil due to the excess moisture in the crawl space. The cracks and sagging floors Norman experienced were a direct result of a sinking foundation. The inspector designed a custom solution to stabilize the foundation and encapsulate the crawl space to reduce moisture and humidity. SmartJacks were installed to support the joists and main beams in the crawl space which closed the gaps in the home’s drywall. A Complete CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed to reduce moisture and remove excess humidity completed the project. Norman was thrilled!
