Lowcountry Basement Systems was called to the home of Clint Land of Brooklet, GA to inspect a sinking foundation. Clint had been advised by his realtor to fix his foundation issue, or it would cost him when sold his 5,521 sq. ft., five-bedroom, two-story brick house.
At the advice of Lowcountry Basement Systems inspector, Brian Townsel, six HP288 slab piles were installed along the foundation wall at the front door to a depth of 13’ 2”. The piles were capped with brackets. All material used by Lowcountry Basement Systems were galvanized. Clint also received a 25-year warranty on the service, and it is transferable to the next homeowner.
Additionally, Lowcountry stabilized the front porch, a 12’ x 20’ area with PolyLevel. The two-part urethane filled the void under the porch to prevent the porch from sinking. The job was completed without a problem.
