Area of Operation
This is a outdoor area of a hotel on River Street that has started to settle.
Stairstep Cracking
Due to the settling of the wall, stairstep cracking had started to form in the bricking.
Helical Pier Being Installed
A Helical pier was installed under the footer of the wall by drilling a corkscrew shaped pipe into the ground until we load bearing soil.
Pier Under the Footer
As you can see, the pier is sitting right under the footer which will guarantee no more settling.
